What's on tap at the library?

All libraries are closed on Monday for Martin Luther King Day. Here's the fun in store for the rest of the week:
  • Dramatic Reading of The Rivals by Richard Brinsley Sheridan on Tuesday, January 20 at 6:30pm at Woodward. Join us for a staged reading of a literary classic. Program is in the Story Room.
  • Youth Sci/Fi & FantasyBook Club on Tuesday, January 20 at 6:30pm at Clovis. A book club for youths & teens ages 10-16. January is "Star Wars, Jedi Apprentice : The Rising Force" by Dave Wolverton. A limited number of the books will be available approximately one month before the discussion date.   • Horror Book Club on Wednesday, January 21 at 3:30pm at Fowler. Join Dennis as he discusses H.P. Lovecraft's horror classics on January 21, February 18, March 4, and April 1! Titles TBD.
  • Open Mic/Poetry on Wednesday, January 21 at 7pm at Central. Drop in reading to share your own work or the works of others (author must be acknowledged) or just come & listen.
  • Teen Action Group (7th-12th grade) on Friday, Janaury 23 at 3:30pm at Fowler. Make new friends, eat munchies, earn volunteer hours, help the community, and create fun library programs. Monthly on Fridays from 3:30-5:00pm: January 23, February 20, March 20.
  • Reality TV: Behind the Scenes and How to Get into the Biz! on Saturday, January 24 at 12pm at Fig Garden and then at 2pm at Fowler. Do you have what it takes to make it behind the scenes in Hollywood? Dezhda Gaubert, a Hollywood Producer for "Designed to Sell," will share her funny, sometimes unbelievable, stories! You'll definitely get an education and learn how you too can get into the biz'!
  • Jewelry Making on Saturday, January 24 at 2pm at Woodward. Make a string or beaded bracelet, keychain, ring or necklace. Supplies provided.
