Nine Days

Every Friday we give a new book away. To get the book, it's simple: just be the first to fill out the form at the bottom of the page. (Note: you must be a Fresno County resident to be eligible for Free Fridays.)

Nine Days by Fred Hiatt

A fast-paced contemporary thriller in the vein of James Patterson and Anthony Horowitz set against the bustling backdrop of Hong Kong, Vietnam, and the border of China. This heart-pounding adventure takes place as two teens, an American teenage boy and his friend, a Chinese girl from his Washington, DC-area high school, must find her father who has been kidnapped—and they only have nine days. Although the characters in the novel are fictionalized, they are based on a real Chinese family who were part of the Chinese Democracy Movement and inspired this story.

Congrats Dihmar!  Your book is on its way!

I see nothing wrong with what I said. Connie is nice enough to provide a free book every Friday and it's nice to see the diverse in the distribution of those books instead of going constantly to a few people.

YEAH I AGREE THAT CONNIE IS NICE ENOUGH TO PROVIDE FREE BOOKS EVERY FRIDAY BUT ITS NOT LIKE YOU EVER WON BOOKS CONSTANTLY TOO AND SOME EXTRAS. AND YOU KNOW WHAT IT SEEMS THAT YOU ARE THE ONE WHOSE COMPLAINING.

First of all stop yelling, and I have only ever won one book. Do you feel better? And no I was not complaining. I do not care if I am the winner, what bothers me is the self entitlement you feel that you should be the winner every week.

Well let me just tell you I don't care if I'm the winner either. And I only have won two books if you wanted to know. And first of all i wasn't complaining all i need was help.Sorry if it seemed I was. Also I'm the type who doesn't like picking fights. This may seem weird, but do you want to be friends and stop this argument? And have peace?

LOL, I actually laughed. Peace unlike NSA vs Snowden
