Mort(e)

Every Friday we give a new book away. To get the book, it's simple: just fill out the form at the bottom of the page and you'll be entered into a drawing. The drawing will run from Friday through Sunday and winners are announced on Mondays. (Note: you must be a Fresno County resident to be eligible for Free Fridays.)

Mort(e) by Robert Repino

A race of intelligent ants has started a war, with the intent of extinguishing the destructive, oppressive human race. The ant colony will ensure the new world will be free of human being's inclination towards violence and religious superstition. The one last hope is former housecat turned war hero, Mort(e), who is well-known for taking on dangerous missions. His true intention is to seek out a lost friend, a dog named Sheba. When he hears that Sheba may still be alive, he sets out ot find his friend in the heart of the ant colony's stronghold. What he finds will determine the ultimate fate of all earth's creatures.

Congratulations, Trina N., you are this week's winner! Keep those submissions coming!
