Shorten Your Life

By now we all know about Twitter--it's a microblogging site that allows us to update our friends on every little thing we're doing in 140 characters or less. But can you tell us your entire life story in 140 characters or less? Some teens at the Woodward Park Library recently gave it a go. Here are a few of their bio-tweets.

I was born, band is my life and probably my death.

I was born to write and I've spent my entire life reading and writing. I live w my dad & annoying sister who likes Jonas Bros. Enough said.

I came, I saw, I've yet to conquer.

I've been doing music since I was 5, singing since I was 4. I attend University High :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) I love to talk on AIM and gtalk.

I now attend Buchanan High School & Fine Arts Academy. I love being in Drama class with my friends. I have 5 cats but I love dogs.

Have you thought of yours yet? Now here's where it gets really tough. Try whittling your life story into six words. The new book I Can't Keep My Own Secrets: Six-Word Memoirs by Teens Famous and Obscure is full of teens who did just that. Here are six of those six-word memoirs:

I'm just standing in the background.
Googled what he called me. Ouch.
Family falls apart after mom dies.
Still ride shopping carts down stairs.
ADD, OCD. Sucks to be me.
I'll have a True Hollywood Story.

So...what's your story?
