It's Teen Read Week: "Read for the Fun of It!"

During Teen Read Week™ (Oct. 9-15), we encourage teens to check out the Fresno County Public Library.

A friendly game of Dungeons & Dragons at FCPL's Gillis Branch.
Browse our rich selection of books (ex. novels, non-fiction, manga), movies (including anime), CDs, and video games, and find library programs and events designed for you! Just this week alone, you can enjoy homework help, a drawing class, video and tabletop gaming (ex. Dungeons and Dragons) at the library, an Escape Room, and crafts (Wizard Wand Pencils this week!).  Click here for dates and times.

Also, consider visiting the makerspace at Betty Rodriguez branch, and even joining Teen Council (help organize and plan events, give input on collections, and keep up to date on events and programs throughout the year!). These, of course, are only a few things you can do. We encourage you to explore a bit on your own, and find your own connection to the library. If it matters to you, chances are we've got you covered--and, if not, let us know!

To keep you reading this week and throughout the year, we'll be offering a new incentive as well: for each book review you submit to the review blog in a given week, you'll earn an extra entry for the "Free Fridays" drawing.

See you in the branches!
