Be Part of Something BIG This Weekend

Shoppers browsing the Non-Fiction room, during the first day of the 2017 Big Book Sale.

Do you need community service hours for school or a club you're involved in?

Volunteer your time and energy at the Friends of the Fresno County Public Library's BIG Book Sale! Sale proceeds go to the Library, so any help you can contribute will ultimately benefit you in a variety of ways. The sale runs through this Sunday, August 27 (South side of Sierra Vista Mall, near Kohl's), and over the next few days volunteers are needed to help sort donations and assist with the sale itself.

To volunteer, all you need to do is show up during any of sale or prep hours, and let them know you want to lend a hand. There will be plenty to do, and any help you can offer will be greatly appreciated. Here's when you can find the the Friends of the Fresno County Public Library at the mall:

Friday 8/25: Sale 10:00 am - 9:00 pm; Volunteers needed 9:00ish am-9:00 pm
Saturday 8/26: Sale 10:00 am - 8:00 pm; Volunteers needed 9:00ish am-8:00 pm
Sunday 8/27: $5.00 a bag sale 11:00 am – 6:00 pm; Volunteers needed 10:00-6:00 pm
